Paint mass suicide on the aspiration diktat
The crowning glory of the New Art Riot EP, which is why I suppose it’s the lead/title track as well. It’s not much when you look at it in retrospective but it does have its naïve charm. This is the young Manics we’re talking about here: ridiculous as hell, lyrics that are so utterly, utterly bad that they’re pure company, simple punk-influenced music with paper-thin production, teenager James and so forth. Not much value in the musical sense of things but it does have unintended comedic value these days. And it is kinda catchy too.
Not much else to say about this, is there?
